Marelize Van Zyl, Oral Health Therapist
Marelize is an Oral Health Therapist who is passionate about helping patients feel confident and comfortable in the dental chair. Growing up with a unique perspective from her mother’s work as a dentist and her father’s expertise as a dental technician, Marelize developed an early appreciation for the transformative power of oral health care. She graduated from Central Queensland University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy.
Marelize is dedicated to providing high-quality oral health care to patients of all ages. Her clinical experiences have included working with both children and adults, which has strengthened her skills in preventive and restorative care. Marelize particularly enjoys educating patients on the importance of oral hygiene and helping them build lifelong habits for a healthy smile.
With a warm and empathetic approach, Marelize strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel valued and supported on their journey to optimal oral health.
Outside of office
Outside of the dental practice, Marelize loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s relaxing at the beach, running, or hitting the gym to stay active. When the opportunity arises, she indulges her adventurous spirit by heading to the slopes for snowboarding. She has a creative side and enjoys painting as a way to unwind.
