Meet Dr Chandrama Banerjee (Dentist)

Dr Chandrama graduated from UWA with a Bachelor in Science, majoring in Neuroscience, before achieving a Doctor of Dental Medicine. She took an active interest in research during her degree, particularly looking into the impact of Oral nutritional supplements on dental caries rate of head and neck cancer patients, with the research article published in 2021. After graduating, she has worked in private practice in the Perth metro area.
She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, and is particularly interested in restorative, aesthetic and prosthodontic work, as well as extractions.
At all times, her number one mission is to listen to her patients and make them as comfortable as possible and connect with them, so they can create an optimum oral health plan – and a happy smile, because she understands that going to the dentist can be a nerve-wracking experience.
Dr Chandrama is committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements, having completed multiple restorative, endodontic, and prosthodontic courses organised by ADAWA and renowned experts in these fields. In addition to consistently pursuing ongoing education, Dr Chandrama attended the prestigious FDI World Dental Congress in Sydney in 2023 and the IDEM in Singapore in 2024, ensuring she remains well-informed about the latest developments in global dentistry.
